DuWavne Jacob  married Judy White Roberts 26 Feb 1992 in Las Vegas, NV. His children are Scott, Tim and Brent. Allen Wilbert ( married Susan White 14 Aug 1971 at Nashua, IA. Their children are Wade and Bradley. Vicky Sue  married James Perez 6 Aug 1974. He died 19 Oct 1983 at Rock Island, IL. Their children are Anthony and Trevor. Willard Feltis

Willard Henry Feltis was one of twin sons born to William, Sr. and Mary Ann Feltis 29 Nov 1843 at Russeltown, Quebec, Canada. William Feltis, Sr. was born 20 Mar 1822 in Rhode Island. Mary Ann was born 19 Jun 1824 in Moretown, NY (Her name is spelled McCarrol on her death certificate.) Mary Ann's parents came from Ireland. Willard moved to Davenport, ND and there he married Caroline Bowman 27 Jan 1886. Caroline was born 19 Oct 1855 at Davenport. Willard and Caroline moved to IA from ND.

Field, Dr. Henry Paul

Dr. Henry Paul Field, a graduate of the University of Iowa Dental School in 1926, practiced dentistry in IA for 56 years, working four years in New Albin, IA prior to his arrival in Decorah where he practiced from 1930 until his retirement in 1982. He was a life member of the Iowa Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Born 6 Aug 1902 in Forest City, IA, where he was raised on the family homestead and graduated from high school, he was the son of Norwegian immigrants, Julius Field (Fjeld) who was born in 1850 in Brandval, Norway and Lese Wald (Void, also Laurentsen), born in Flekkefjord, Norway in 1862. His brothers and sisters were Ida, Dr. Louis Field, Arthur, Willis, Julia, Ruth, Vincent, and Stephen.

Henry Field married Iduna Bertel in 1927 in Dubuque, IA; they became the parents of three children, Paul Bertel,  John Andrew and Elizabeth Wald .

Dr. Field was an amateur archeologist and historian who collected Indian artifacts, fossils, rocks and historical documents. His research and interest in paleontology and Native American culture were reflected in the use of his free time excavating for fossils and Indian relics throughout northeast Iowa and the Mississippi River Valley. Some of his collection, including a mandible, or lower jaw from a woolly mammoth whose species roamed the area about 10,000 years ago, and a tusk and molar tooth from a mastodon, were for many years on display at his long-time dental office above the old library on the northeast corner of Winnebago and Main Street. Eventually Dr. Field donated portions of his collection to Effigy
